Ostomy Halifax Education Event - Saturday, October 21st - JOIN US!

** Registration begins at 8:30am **

Why: To provide medical and social information to help people living with an ostomy – and their families – to live life to the fullest.

When: Saturday, October 21, 2023 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Where: Inn on the Lake Take Exit 14 on Highway 118 (Road to the airport from Halifax and Dartmouth). It is about 20 minutes from the Dartmouth side of the MacDonald Bridge. As you come to the T-junction at the end of the Exit 14 off ramp, you can see the Inn on your right. There is ample parking.

Who: Whether you are a member of an ostomy support group, a family member of someone living with an ostomy, someone who may be facing ostomy surgery, or someone who has no current affiliation with an ostomy group, but who would just like more information, you are welcome to join us.

How: It’s easy! Come to the Inn on the Lake in time to register and be ready to participate by 9:00 am.

Fee: There is a fee requested of $20 to help offset costs, but if this is difficult for you, the fee can be waived. The $20 is payable at the door.

Lunch: There will be morning and afternoon nutrition breaks as well as lunch.

Rooms: For those traveling, rooms will be available at a special rate for pre-booking for $159 plus tax.
